This is NOT a digital simulation. The same video signal was fed to two different TVs. The one on the left a Sony XBR with 1920 by 1080p resolution. The one on the right is 3860 by 2160 resollution. Two million pixels vs. 8.3 millions pixels. These photographs arre only a small  portion of the TV screen. Standing in front of these two TVs live the different is staggering.
