We can afford to double the warranty because we sell better products, whose track record of repairs is minimal. All the details of our FREE Double Warranty are printed on the back of your receipt. So, most receivers come with a 2 year factory warranty, and Alterman Audio gives you four years, parts and labor. Our double warranty is limited to 5 years, so a product with a 3 year warranty would get and extended warranty out to 5 years, not quite double. Sony ES has a 5 year warranty, as do most speakers, so there is no extention of their factory warranty. We don't sell any extended warranities. We figure five years is long enough! The Alterman Audio Alternative: Loaners during service. Should your Alterman Audio purchased equipment fail to operate and need repair, and we can't fix it within a week, Alterman Audio will loan you another to use while yours is being repaired. The loaner may not be as fancy as the one you bought and may not have all the same exact features, but it will keep your music playing. The free loaner is offered during the factory warranty or Alterman Audio extension. The Alterman Audio Alternative: 60 day replacement. Brand new factory sealed equipment doesn't always work out of the box. Manufacturer's warranties only call for repair. For a period of 60 days from date of purchase, Alterman Audio will replace your purchase if we confirm the problem, and we can't fix it right away, and you have all your packaging.
